Seriously, “Shredder”? Because of the Wolverine gloves? Daft. This is better:
1: Stapler
I see Stapler as someone who pin-pins his victims in the neck to make it look like they were bitten by vampires.
2: Binder
Pervy one, into bondage
3: Copier
Makes turtles furious by wearing a bandana and eating pizza while claiming he’s been doing it for years.
4: Printer
Has lasers and can always bring turtles in a jam.
5: Clippy
“I see you’re trying to save the world from the foot soldiers. Would you like me to get in your way?”
Here’s to the crazy one

The first thing I did this morning was open my MacBook to check up on what the world has been up to while I was away. I’ve never been bothered enough about the start page in Safari to change it. The last couple of days this page has proclaimed the new iPhone 4S in the usual fashion they do whenever a new product comes along. Today however was different. A humble black and white portrait of Steve Jobs was shown, along with the years “1955-2011″. Apple had lost his co-founder.
It came to an immediate blow to me. Though I never had the chance to meet the man I still feel a great deal of sadness about his death. The man lived 5000 miles away from me and yet, I feel my world is a slightly worse place now.
Its not so much for the computer industry I feel sorry for. I trust Apple learnt a lot from last time they lost him and will be better at innovating this time. And even if they don’t, somebody new will take over. There’ll always come better computers without Steve Jobs. What the future will lack instead is culture.
Art is a strange thing. On one hand, music is just vibrations. The stroke of a brush is just spreading acrylics upon canvas. The word on a piece of paper. On the other hand, it’s so much more. It’s the technique mixed with passion. Suddenly, when the right person makes the right strokes he or she has the ability to leave the rest of us in awe, has the ability to inspire us and make us go inspire others. Steve Jobs made an art form out of computing. In a one hand, it’s just nils and ones. But on the other hand, it’s so much more. Just like letters placed correctly can make words which then placed together can make beautiful poems, Steve Jobs was the man who brought beauty and elegance into something functional.
Because behind the queuing fanboys, the secrecy, the rumours and speculations, the pompousness and the arrogance there’s still the scruffy looking Californian hippie who thought he could change the world. And then went out and did it.
Here’s to the crazy one.
Rest in peace Steve
He was a myth as much as a man for most people in the world but I would also like to send my thoughts to his family and mostly to his four children who today who not only lost what world have but also lost their father. My deepest condolences.

- Argh, my back!
- YEEEEEEEES!
- Oops, wrong guy…
- This little piggie’s going to market!
- To infinity AND BEYOND!
Also, Star Wars fans, assumably you already have multiple versions of the movies lying around; George Lucas isn’t coming around to alter those.
